This series of stained glass, fused glass, and mixed media assemblages was developed during a two-week artist residency at LA Studio in Patton, Pennsylvania.
Much of my focus was on exploring techniques for transforming flat glass into three-dimensional forms, alongside creating two-dimensional panels in unconventional shapes. Limited to the materials and supplies I brought to the residency, I was able to narrow the focus of my aesthetic and embraced the constraints to shape the direction of each piece.
