I loved visiting the studio for a class - what an amazing way to appreciate the work that is produced here. Kate was approachable, and presented an easy way to make a beautiful piece for each of us to take home. I'm excited to head back to shop for more glass.

Honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had. Kate was amazing and I haven't stopped thinking about the experience. If you have any interest in glass blowing, stop hedging and head to infinite glassworks. You won't regret it for a second.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not sure what to expect in a glassblowing class? Here are some FAQ’s to get you started.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us directly.

The molten glass we are using is between 2000º to 2200ºF.

You can expect a combination of sitting, standing and moving around the studio during your glassblowing class. The studio is a hot environment and you will be working in front of a 2100ºF glass furnace. We do everything possible to ensure you stay cool and comfortable during your class. You will need to be able to follow verbal instruction in order to take this class. Feel free to contact us if you have physical limitations that you wish to discuss with the instructor.

Wear pants and closed-toes shoes (absolutely no sandals) and nothing that could melt in heat (like vinyl). It’s best to dress in layers, it is warm while working with the hot glass.  Please make sure you tie back long hair.

Bring a water bottle with you in case you get thirsty. You are welcome to bring a little snack with you as well, but please avoid bringing nuts to the studio.

Bring your phone or camera! It’s always fun to snap some photos of your experience, and we can take photos of you while you create your object.

You will be required to wear eye protection, gloves and arm sleeves in order to protect you from the hot glass.  All safety protection will be provided, however feel free to bring your own glasses and/or gloves.

If you bring your own gloves, they must fit snugly and be made of thick leather with no plastic/rubber parts on them as this can melt with the heat.

The glass has to cool slowly overnight so you will not be able to take your glass piece home on the day of your workshop.  You will be able to pick up your finished piece from the studio 1-3 days after your workshop or we can make arrangements for shipping if pickup is not an option.

All classes and workshops are final sale and non-refundable. Refunds will only be provided if the class is cancelled due to low enrolment or inclement weather. If you can’t attend your workshop, you can transfer your spot to another person. Please email [email protected] to notify me of the transfer.

I always monitor the weather forecast prior to class and if I feel that the driving conditions are unsafe, I will contact you via the email you provided (you can also contact me via text 519-924-1551). We will arrange to either reschedule the class or refund your full amount so you can book into another workshop.

Unfortunately we are not insured to teach glassblowing to anyone younger than 18 years old.

We occasionally teach slightly larger groups of 4-8 participants. Though we generally try to keep our class sizes to 2-4 students in order to maximize time with the instructor, we have options for slightly larger groups. Please contact us directly to chat about a group class.

Definitely! We can accommodate up 2 to 6 people in a private class in either glassblowing or fused glass.  Private workshops can only be booked from January-May. Please contact us for availability.
