Forged individually by hand, these hollow birds are constructed from copper sheet and rivets. The individual pieces are cut, etched, hammered and formed, then assembled like a puzzle using only rivets as fasteners. The process of hand forging without the use of molds or forms dictates the individual personalities of each bird.
