Before winter buried us in snowbanks, I was deep in the studio exploring the quiet beauty of ice—its shifting translucency, the way bubbles become suspended within, and the balance of softness and sharpness in its form.
The Ice Vase captures that essence with a modern, round silhouette in serene, icy turquoise and opaque white. Ice Vases can be displayed as a standalone decor piece but I was really thinking about them as small groupings that interplay with each other in shifting light, colour and form.
This limited edition release is as fleeting as melting ice—once they’re gone – they’re gone!

• Glass can be handwashed or washed in the top rack of a dishwasher using non-abrasive detergent.
• Do not place glass in a microwave or oven.
• Do not pour boiling liquids into glass.

• Handcrafted one at a time by Kate Civiero using traditional glassblowing techniques.
